1. Wypakuj pliki

2. Idź do cstrike / addons / i zrób nowy katalog o nazwie dproto
3. Skopiuj dproto.dll lub dproto_i386.so do cstrike / addons / dproto /
4. Idź do metamod katalogu instalacyjnego (zwykle jego cstrike / addons / metamod /) i edytuj plugins.ini:
dodaj tę linię do Windowsa
win32 addons \ dproto \ dproto.dll
czy to dla Linuksa
linux addons/dproto/dproto_i386.so
na początku pliku
5. Skopiuj dproto.cfg do katalogu głównego serwera (cstrike).
6. Uruchom serwer. Należy użyć tego polecenia w Linuksie:

. / hlds_run-binary ./hlds_i686

Gdy wpiszesz "meta list" w konsoli. Zobaczysz coś takiego:

7. Jeśli status nie jest "RUN", uruchom serwer z "+log on +mp_logecho 1" parametrów i przejrzeyj wyjścia konsoli. W 99% przypadków znajdziesz tam powód.
8. Instalacja pluginów amxmodx z katalogu AMXX nie jest konieczne.
