- Never more "Hostage Dread Queens" !!! -


Description

Do you know the funny feeling you get if you see a well looking female custom Hostage model on a map, wanna run faster and faster to finally reach her ... and then you have to realize (-.-) "its a dread queen" of cause a male voice is played by talking to her o.O

This plugin intends to eliminate this but also intends to add a little bit alternation on every mapchange.

Its my first plugin i release here - so please feel free to make suggestions for improvement!

Its my contribution and a little thanx to all other plugin developers spending so much time in theirs.

This plugin merges parts of the following two plugins and adds new functionallity
- Hoastage Voices
- Hostage Models (second Link)

Features

• changes every Hostege model on the map ...
• with one of 4 randomly choosen custom models from a list ...
• on every mapchange ...
• changes "hostage_entity" & "monster_scientist" entity models ...
  
• precaches the 4 randomly choosen models ...

• differs between male and female models and ...
• plays randomly one of 5 female Hostage voices if model is female ...
• plays standard voice if model is not female
• precaches the voices ..

• tempory there is no configuration possibility (all paths temporary are hard coded)
  

Configuration / Installation

- put the plugin in your amxx plugins folder and
- add the plugin name to your plugins config file
- put the whole "hostage" folder of the attached zip file in your servers "models" folder
(cstrike/models/hostages)
- put the whole "hostage_female" folder of the attached zip file in your servers "sound" folder
(cstrike/sound/hostage_female)

- its possible to generate the ztmp files for your server by setting the cvar hostage_models_ztmp to "1" and joining the server (after precaching all files set this cvar back to "0")

CVars

• hostage_models_ztmp (default: 0)

- let server precache all models when someone enters the server
(helpfull if you want let the server create the ztmp files,
dont forget to switch it back to 0 !!!)

• hostage_models_debug (default: 0)

- displays debugging information as a chat message when voice is played

(only helpfull if you want to determine which sound, model, skin or body is used)
