Description/Features List: Quote: Shell Shock is a server-side (ONLY) modification of Half-Life 2 Deathmatch. No custom game client is required to play Shell Shock, all you do is open Half-Life 2 Deathmatch, choose a Shell Shock server, and start fragging!Shell Shock is very much the same game as HL2DM except for the following changes:Players spawn with a loaded shotgun, pistol, & crowbarShotgun power is increased (way more damage)Shotgun reload time reduced (reloads quicker)Shotgun firing rate increased (shoots faster)Shotgun clip size increased (to 8 bullets, this is customizable)Crossbow bolt speed dramatically increased (almost instant, like HL1!)Crossbow bolt damage increased (almost insta-gib)Frag grenades can be launched via right-click and detonate on impactPlayers may spawn with any weapon combination (shotgun/melee/pistol recommended)Respawn time reduced to 0.5 seconds so players can rejoin the fray more quicklyThere are other minor adjustments but these are the ones that impact the gameplay most.
